Annie Bynnol
Do not use Trainline- they are always more expensive than the train companies booking sites and even railway station if you ask for the correct tickets. They charge a booking fees etc. Nationalrail is good for information but they send you to another rail companies site. Edinburgh has direct services(or change Newcastle) with Xcountry which are often slower than booking Doncaster to Edinburgh with VTEC which has cheaper advances, Nectar and online discounts. Their 1st class can be cheaper than second class as well as having free food and drink. Edited September 18, 2015 by Annie Bynnol
