Why should I pay for Jeremy Corbyn's friend Claire

Recommended Posts

I agree with the principle of don't have a ton of kids if you can't afford them. But how was she supposed to know that the government would suddenly cut tax credits, taking her from "I can afford them" into "I can't afford them"?

What do you expect people to do when their financial situation changes beyond their control?

so should a government change the rate of taxation when some folks rely on a high income to pay for a large mortgage or other types of loan?

I repeat as you seem to like doing.

They won't lose a penny, they will just receive less, there's a fairly simple solution, if you can't afford kids don't have them or get a better paid job.

And where does all this end? Some are saying we need people like her to keep the population up, so her five have five each recurring, the country will finish up with a population like China's.

Ok, so are you suggesting that people who can't afford to pay for their children's education or healthcare directly shouldn't have them? After all, free at the point of use education and healthcare are a form of government benefit paid for by the rest of the taxpayers.

I've got an idea

When they get ill or old people who don't have children (and complain about paying for other peoples' children) shouldn't be looked after by other peoples' children.

er................

I agree with the piece, it annoys me no end that people that CHOOSE to have children automatically expect all the perks the government offers for doing so as being part of the package. The UK is already offering free education until Uni-age, sure-start centres and free healthcare. As a child-less couple we are paying for that and we don't have an issue with it, but tax-breaks? Get out of here... what about our tax breaks for choosing NOT to have kids and cost money to the state for their first 20 odd years?

big and small business contribute far more to charities and so do banks, i have been on many golf days and to charity auctions organised by banks and business which raises 100,s of thousands for good causes.

That reminds me of those wonderful philanthropic casinos, who provide you with all the free food and drink you could possibly want, while in their establishment.

Have you noticed those places never have clocks on the wall.

Yes, believe it or not Prince Philip was also against large families and feared a population explosion.

Perks? Education and healthcare for children are not perks.

What the blazes are you going on about?

Who is going to clean your backside when you're an old git crapping in your underpants? Other peoples' kids that's who.

My backside will be cleaned by a lovely Ukrainian lass, I am saving up to ensure that right now.
