Cyclone
Or you could say motorcyclist and cyclists die when attempting to pass on the inside! You could say that, but since they're doing something legal and expected the fault is with the people who are killing them and they should be prosecuted for causing death by dangerous driving. Perhaps a number of drivers getting 15 years inside would help to focus the minds of the rest.

People have to take responsibility for driving errors, but you can't ignore the fact that motorcycling is inherently extremely dangerous. You've basically left most of your car with its good brakes, metal armour, seat belts, crumple zones, air bags and all manner of other accessories designed to protect you from a collision, at home. All you've brought is the engine, gearbox and 2 of the wheels. If you then have a collision you're going to get hurt a lot worse than if you'd showed up in a whole car. No matter who's fault it is that the collision occurred, the only person responsible for the fact that you showed up blatantly inadequately prepared for such a collision is you. It's very dangerous. Cycling on the other hand, shouldn't be that dangerous as the speeds are pretty low. It's only dangerous if you or someone else does something stupid. Pherhaps the cyclists/motorcyclist family should be billed for doing something inherently stupid like passing on the inside. By the way there are only two reasons for passing safely on the inside and in neither cases would the vehicle be turning left.
Cyclone
Learn to drive. It's legal, you should expect cyclists to filter past you on the left!

Some ( the normals) wouldnt pass on the inside when a vehicle is turning left, the morons (suicide squad) pass on the left when a vehicle is turning because A, they are morons and B they think everyone on the road should stop for them. They are usually the losers who wear the ultra bright flashing head gear that blinds car drivers (my lights have to be a certain level why dont theirs?), Go through red lights and on pavements and never signal their intentions type people. Car fodder in other words. No, the majority of sensible cycles would NEVER and i repeat NEVER pass an vehicle on the inside when the vehicle is turning left.
