Alan Else Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 At the end of South Road Walkley was the tram terminus, the crews used to have a cuppa in small tea shop. We used to sneak up to the trams and undo the catch on the used ticket container that was on the footplate. When the tram set off along the shaky track the cover to the used ticket box would swing open and used tickets would billow out all over the road.
