jamesey Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 hi I taxed my car for 6 months online on the 21st of april 2015 so they started the tax from the 1st of april , I need the car on the road until the end of this month (September 2015) 6 months , they took £98 from my account a few weeks after taxing it via online direct debit for 6 months now ive cancelled my direct debit because I don't want them to take another £98 for another 6 months but now they have sent me a email saying I must tax my car asap to continue driving it , , my question is ive already paid the 98 for 6 month so shurly im taxed until the end of this month? the_bloke Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 Unless you tell them it's been sold, scrapped or is officially SORN (off road) you need to pay the tax.
