SimpsonD
I'm wanting to book a holiday abroad with my 7 year old daughter next July and was wondering where is the best place to take her? Would prefer to have a pool with slides and lots of activities for her, the hotel must be in good clean condition also. We would like the hotel to be next to the beach or close by with close by shops etc. Has anyone been abroad recently and had a good experience? Thanks

Dalek Boy
Magic Rock Aqua Gardens in Benidorm probably ticks all your boxes, including the water slides. All inclusive too. Only downside was the poor evening entertainment.
Cyclecar
Camping (well, nice chalet actually) in Brittany on the Biscay Coast. Not expensive, jolly ferry crossing, no airport delays. She will enjoy the experience. My son has taken the grandchildren there for the last two years, and will be going again. Check out the websites. Brittany Ferries are a reliable one. donsmoobabe
I took mine to golden donaire la pineda a couple of years back http://www.goldenhotels.com/costa-dorada/playas/ the hotel Is actually on the beach you couldn't get more seafront without actually waking up with your feet with the fishes costa dorada in spain near salou its no where near as crowded as solou so it felt safe there is a massive water park within a five min walk not even that http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Tourism-g672794-La_Pineda_Costa_Dorada_Province_of_Tarragona_Catalonia-Vacations.html the hotel is bang on the beach a 5 min bus ride away is porta ventura theme park http://www.portaventura.co.uk/ that's a 2 day event in itself ! the place was clean solou is 2 mins away on the bus if you want the mad nightlife and lots of shopping its just there if you want the serenity and the knowing you can let your child play relatively safe its ideal ... !! I may be going on lol and no I don't work for the tourist board although I wish I did but honestly myself and my children absolutely loved it! it was the 1st time I took mine away by myself just me and the 3 of them I was petrified but I needn't have been it was brill and to top it all it cost me £600 all inc for the 4 of us !!
