Went down derek dooley way and on the stretch from bend to westbar round about set of lights no right turn tyre place opposite . I went through lights at red camera flashed . Did i get a ticket . My fault was stupid. :loopy: There was a definate flash so i fear the worst. Will keep everyone up to date as is only right . Assuming there is to be a prosecution, the Registered Keeper will receive a letter within 14 calendar days of the alleged offence asking them to identify the driver. This must be replied to; if not, the penalty is quite severe. It may be combined with a letter offering a course, or offer of fixed penalty etc. if the RK is the driver. Assuming you are the keeper, and your address is correct on your V5C (Go and check it, if you are the RK); you should be able to rest easy after 14 days have passed if you've heard nothing. If you're sure there is a camera there, and you were definitely flashed, and the RK doesn't receive a letter, then it might be worth contacting the relevant body to endure that it hasn't got lost in the post; N.B. wait until the full 14 days are up. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, including my comments above, without verifying them yourself first; it could have been written by anyone, just like me . p.s. Kwik fit but thats on a roundabout I drive the sheffield roads altime and there isn't a red light camera apart from the one on hanover way. The only camera round there is the one on penistone road towards town which is a speed camera. Not sure what flashed you but it wasn't a camera.
