RobertDay
Very much regret to announce the passing of Trevor Ablett today - one of the last few remaining Sheffield Little Mesters. Trevor's skills as a pocket knife maker spanned almost 60 years and he turned out the finest quality products that the city can be proud of. He had been ill for the last few months and was forced into retirement a couple of months back. He will be sadly missed - RIP Trevor. Commiserations to his wife Mavis and family. Littlemesters
R.I.P Trevor. A gentle family man with great skills. I first men Trevor during the first year of running the Littlemesters site. Not only did I sell hundreds of his knives worldwide but we remained good friends for the next 10 years.

peak4
Some of his tools have been passed on, and some of his designs are are now being continued by Michael May. It's good to see his traditions are continuing. Now to save up for one of Michael's, to be used as an EDC. Edited May 3, 2016 by peak4
