America's shame. Again.

Recommended Posts

Nobodies talking about banning guns though are they?

What are you suggesting - a seismic change in the culture of a country? Good luck with that. Oddly though you weren't keen on pushing a change in culture in India (who still in the main treat a lot of women appallingly) - why is that?

Banning guns wouldn't prevent this

So, how often does this occur in the UK?

Americans will not give up their guns.

So an American child has died? So what? Do the Yanks care about all the Iraqi children killed or maimed in their illegal war?

When the NRA get hold of this story, judging by their previous responses, they're sure to suggest that if the three year old was armed, the six year old wouldn't have shot him.

Unfortunately for all those that are injured and/or killed each year, their price is a price that America is more than happy to pay to maintain their right to own fire arms.

^^^^^Is the correct answer.

America is a fully fledged, fully functioning democracy. If they wanted guns banned they would do - they don't need halibut holding their hand. After sandy hook, gun sales went through the roof.

If some American version of halibut came on here to take us to task about our binge drinking youth or something we'd tell them to **** off. I'm sure if you want to put the world to rights there are other countries I'd put at the front of queue than 'murica.

Banning guns wouldn't prevent this any more than banning drugs prevents instances of children overdosing on their parents drugs.

He didnt say anything about banning them, but your logic is still flawed.

ps the thing about the protest is pie in the sky ridiculous.

A three year old Chicago boy accidentally shot in the head and killed by his six year old brother.

Mind numbingly awful is the research by the Washington Post showing that 43 people have been shot by kids younger than three - this year alone, so far.

More here from the Indy - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/toddler-dies-after-accidentally-being-shot-in-head-by-six-year-old-brother-a6698711.html

The more people shout about this and shame America publicly, the more likely it is that they'll eventually take their heads out of their backsides and act.

If Americans wanted to ban gun ownership they would . The fact they havnt tells you they want to own guns.

Plus, its non of our business.
