Vaati
Your best bet would be to call Jet2 directly.
999tigger
Actually I was wrong (pointed out by Cyclone). Flights and holidays are exempt. Edited October 22, 2015 by 999tigger
SnailyBoy
This is from the JET 2 website "If you wish to cancel your flight, you can do so by visiting the a Manage my booking facility on our homepage. When you request the cancellation an email will be generated to the email address held in your booking. You must click the link in this email to confirm and complete the cancellation. Please be aware that all Jet2.com scheduled flights are non-refundable. We strongly recommend that our customers take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover for unforeseen eventualities that may prevent you from travelling as planned. However, you can make name and date changes to your booking."
Cyclone
Flights are not the same as holidays though. Appears that CCR doesn't apply though. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/holiday-cancellations-and-compensation/cancelling-a-holiday/
cgksheff
You are entitled to the tax component of the fare to be refunded, but then you must balance that against the punitive admin charge to do so. I think Jet2 charge £30 or £40.
Cyclone
If you find that you can't cancel, it might be worth checking your travel insurance, although I think "making a mistake" might be a bit hopeful for cover. Failing that, try to sell the holiday on I suppose...
