I'm really rather fed up of time.

 

I suggest that it be decimalised. Based ideally on the length of the day.

1 second would be about 10 microdays.

All times would be expressed in powers of 10 of the day.

 

Giant rockets will have to be constructed to persuade the earth to go around the sun in either 100 or 1000 days.

 

Anybody uttering the word "week" is to be battered with 7 herring.

 

The time of day will be the same throughout the world and the start and end of the working day will change rather than the actual time.

 

How about we go the other way and just change everything else to base 60? Long live Babylon!

 

Or better yet and actually semi serious this time
