PeteMorris
Having abandoned the rip-off national lottery, I've started playing the health lottery. I've opened up an online account and play it on line. But I can't see anything that says they will let you know if you win. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Do I really have to check it manually in each draw?
cgksheff
How do I know if I've won? Tune in to the TV draw and check your numbers as the balls are drawn. You can also check the draw results online at http://www.healthlottery.co.uk, ask your Health Lottery Retailer, look them up in the Express, Star, Mirror and Sun newspapers, or just call us on 0844 375 55 55. We can send the draw results directly to your email. I'm presuming you have to physically check each draw?...Hasn't 'tech' moved on a bit?...How difficult is it to check for winners in an online account?...Sigh
cgksheff
I've re-read it and see what you mean. Not what you wanted.
PeteMorris
I've re-read it and see what you mean. Not what you wanted. Making assumptions, there is a mention of if you win up to £2000 then it will be paid directly into your online account. Which I suppose is ok (ish), but anything more than that, you have to 'claim', which means the ball ache of physically checking your numbers. I deliberately never play 'regular' numbers, so I don't get sucked into the 'gotta play, cos my numbers might come up'. So I guess it means checking your numbers EVERY time...Grrrr
cgksheff
I was sure that they did and ....here it is ....... How will I know if I’ve won a prize? If you have played online we’ll send you an email asking you to sign in and check your account. When you do, select the Your Account history section, where you’ll find details of any winning tickets you’ve bought online. https://www.healthlottery.co.uk/faqs Edited October 31, 2015 by cgksheff

Seems pretty well hidden. I couldn't understand why it seemed they didn't let you know. But according to your link, they do email you. Anyway, thanks again. runningman1
They emailed me when I won a bit of money a few years ago. You get an email along the lines of "we have some exciting news for you. Please log in". It is quite similar to the national lottery in that respect.
