woodmally
So how the heck did this happen? http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/picture-bus-gets-stranded-on-tram-tracks-in-sheffield-1-7551978 No wonder buses are late if drivers don't know the difference between a road and a tram track

ohmyword
It was a new route for the driver what was driving that bus. It's an easy mistake to do actually and remember the city was engulfed in mist as they say so it was even harder to see clearly.
Crosser
Looking at the photo...... I was going to say that the bumpy gravel and it not looking even slightly like any kind of road were a clue.... However, I then remembered that this is in Sheffield and that is the norm, Especially before & AFTER Amey have had their way with it. So my sympathies are with the driver. Mist is no excuse, if the driver is driving too fast to see the sides of the road in the mist, then there is an offence which covers that.
