exxon
It seems Britain got it right on this one. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34743216 Russia has ordered the suspension of all flights to Egypt following indications that the crash near Sharm el-Sheikh was caused by a bomb. President Vladimir Putin made the announcement after UK investigators said they believed a bomb was put in the plane's hold prior to take-off, killing all 224 people on board. The UK has suspended flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and is bringing Britons home.

PeteMorris
How many on here would have gone there in the first place. Not me. It's all very well saying if you don't go there, then the terrorists have 'won'. But making a point is fine, but risking your life to make it is quite another. Fudbeer
To be honest with all the delays from increased security and time you spend faffing around at airports parking ect before being crammed on an uncomfortable flight I now hate flying and avoid it whenever I can. But making a point is fine, but risking your life to make it is quite another. It seems a British airlines had a close encounter with a surface to air missile approaching Sharm a few weeks ago. It turned out to be a "friendly fire" incident with Egyptian troops on a firing excercise in the area. But as was seen when a group of Mexican tourists were killed by Egyptian forces in the area, being killed by friendly fire makes you just as dead as being killed by the terrorists. Cyclone
How many on here would have gone there in the first place. Lots I expect, it's a very popular holiday destination. I've looked at it several times because the scuba is supposed to be excellent.
cgksheff
Looking at all the photos of those Brits caught up in the 'evacuation' situation in Sharm, it is interesting to note the large numbers of school-age children out there.
