geared
Mr Regret is right about making sure you get decent batteries, unfortunately there are loads of sellers on eBay punting fakes or just plain crap batteries.

mazeppa
I was thinking of getting this one but using aaa batteries. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=321354931958&alt=web I bought something similar to that for around £15 including battery and charger. Had it a year or so and can't fault it for the money, only slight dislike is a very slight purple/blue tint to the light but for £15 I can live with it.
