RosieLuke
So I have a Vauxhall Astra 06 plate (cd30) and for a good few months now it's not been able to read CDs , you put one in and it spins for a bit then spits it out and says error cd ... Wanting to know who could help us out and has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? What's the price on the repair ?? ( this does the error with all CDs, originals and written!) fozzybear210
You could try a lens cleaning disc or blowing into the cd slot to get rid of any dust off the lens. If that doesn't work, it may need replacing.
*Wallace*
Yes put a cleaning disc through it it may help.

ricgem2002
it seems to be a common problem according to the astra forum but I couldn't see anything about fixing the problem
rudds1
Thanks, where can I get a cleaning disc from? Reckon halfords would sell them? Try somewhere like maplins for a cleaning disc .if that does not work it will probably be cheaper to replace cd unit with a 2nd hand one
fozzybear210
I see you're in hillsborough. Maplins , pound land or b+m should stock them
