John
In the early 80s a puzzle called Rubik Cube was the height of this craze - did you have one and could you complete it?
saxon51
Did it in under a minute once. Peeled off all the coloured stickers and relocated them. Cheating, or initiative? Basically, I'M CR@P AT IT!!!

fnkysknky
Yep I could do it - could do Rubik's Clock as well - in fact as far as I know it's under my bed, might get it out and have a go again later Also I seem to remember having a Rubik's puzzle to do with the Olympics logo - I could do that too
Sidla
Rubik's Clock was easy though. I never mastered the Cube, I'm sure there has to be a technique to it.

mega_monty
I used to have a rubiks snake, that you made into a ball or dog shape or whatever. Could never get the hang of the cube though, just too frustrating, think mine got smashed up against the wall too. Seemed to me that it was always the spotty swotty kids at school that won prizes for completing it in 30 secs or so
Jamie
Yep ... there were certain patterns you could learn to move the blocks around ... and from a completely jumbled up state it would take well under a minute to complete. I was such a geek ... solution here: http://lar5.com/cube/
