Gamston
Yes, that's true. Obviously where kids are victimised it hurts me. My own childhood wasn't exactly pleasant shall we say, so when I hear all these terrible stories I can't help but feel protective. Maybe I say the wrong things, but I know my morals and principles and that my heart is in the right place. To me, there is nothing more cowardly than those who harm children. My childhood was over 40yrs ago, yet to this day the emotional wounds are still raw. I agree there is nothing more cowardly than those who harm children . Hogg
I understood from the reporting of this murder that the Grandfather drowned the boy so that he could go back to living in an institution. He was hoping for hospitalisation but thankfully, he will go to prison. I have to hope he is very unhappy there, for a more horrible reason to kill, especially a family member, and a child at that, I cannot imagine. The Judge made it clear in her opinion that he was bad rather than mad . He should remain in prison and never be transferred to a secure hospital such as Rampton .
