They have copies of local newspapers on microfiche going back very many years. I think you can make photocopies from the microfiches. If anyone could help I would be most grateful. Don't know of the photos but remember the gales very well. Going to work with roof slates falling all around the place and somebody's garage/shed uprooted and blown into the middle of the road as I walked to my bus stop.
