They oppose free trade and want to introduce tariffs on imports. A sure fire winner there. Now they can run untested at the presidency without a track record to defend and legitimately pointing out the socialists gamed the system to keep them out. There is no need to allow them to create regional havoc. The French electorate don't want them. Sometimes, democracy works. Then why game the system? What is so difficult about arranging an electoral system that says if you get 40% of the vote, you get 40% of MP's? Is that too democratic?
