Trump has threatened to run as a third party candidate, which would be a disaster for the Republicans because he'd split the vote making it almost impossible for them to win the Presidency. He inherited his wealth, and if he'd simply had a FTSE100 tracker instead of personally directing his investments, he'd be far richer now than he actually is.
