jane91
I'm having a full re-wire done on a property i'm buying and im looking to get a rough ballpark figure for the plastering that will need to be done once its been completed. There will also be 2 ceilings that need to be plastered 1 bathroom 1 toilet. can anyone give me a rough idea as im trying to work out my budget. im not in yet and obviously wont hold anyone to the prices, im after an idea of cost only at this stage. thanks

iansheff
You might want to give an idea of the dimensions, also whether you will supply materials or want the tradesman to supply them.

geared
You'd need to get a plasterer round to quote on the job, if you've had extra sockets put in and such it might be better to re-board and plaster the entire room, rather than patch up. What is the condition of the rest of the plaster??? In older places you sometimes get the old plaster coming away, especially if it's been behind wallpaper for ages.
