brownnut
Have you noiced how Morrisons prices have gone up since they stopped matching other supermarkets and you certainly do not get as many points when doing your shopping.
The Joker
Were they ever that cheap to begin with? Cheaper than Somerfield at Firth Park (not saying much I know) but I've not been to the ecclesfield store since asda on t'cross opened.

Big Brother
Also it had to be from the same manufacturer. Or brand name. Example 6 carrots from Morrisons 99p or 6 carrots from lidl 40p. Even though lidl was less you got no saving because it was not from the same manufacturer / supplier. ---------- Post added 13-12-2015 at 02:53 ---------- Price promise / match my ass! brianthedog
Morrisons look like a candidate for sale or takeover. They're laying off staff to cut costs, while subtly hiking prices to make their sales look better. They're in a terrible market position - squeezed from all sides by better, more efficient retailers. pattricia
Have you noiced how Morrisons prices have gone up since they stopped matching other supermarkets and you certainly do not get as many points when doing your shopping. Tescos still match other supermarkets but none of them dare match Aldi, Llidl or Netto.!
Scozzie
They tried to charge me £40 for 6 chicken thigh fillets, so yeah- I've definitely noticed an increase.
northernboy
Depends what you buy I suppose. A check of my card statements shows my spend has actually gone down recently, and I've had loads of £5 vouchers too. I will be very disappointed if Morrisons are sold/taken over. scousemouse
I was very put out over the Christmas bonus this year. In past years if you spent over £40 a week for five weeks you go a twenty five pound voucher just before Christmas. Ths year you had to spend £60 a week and just got extra points. Difficult if you are on your own to justify that amount of money on a weekly shop.
geared
Tescos still match other supermarkets but none of them dare match Aldi, Llidl or Netto.! When the Match and More scheme was first announced they did make a big thing of being the only supermarket to match Lidl/Aldi. They've gone kinda quiet on that front though.
