Carpet fitting problems

Recommended Posts

Thanks for your replies, we came to an agreement of the fitter turning up and giving the remainder of the funds up front, this was the easiest option after dealing with people who persistently lied to us.

So it was booked in for Sunday lunch, just before he was meant to turn up, they messaged us saying because of everything that had happened, they would refund the deposit.

This is my favourite solution because I didn't want them to profit from me at all.

I'm assuming we are a rare case for this company, I don't dispute that they will have many many happy customers.

That said, if I went through the full story and how things are happening, it is so far fetched you would think I was jackanory.

For a company to call its customers liars (what we would gain from lying I don't know), to be swore at by a representative of their company, to be lied to, to be told that we were trying to scam them out of money (no idea how) and the rest of it all, I don't know how they can sleep at night.
