Robbie Loving
[Raises handbag] Oooooooooooooo!! No worries mate, i'd be the first to admit that Wed. are sh*t at the moment but am comfortable with the fact that i've watched em through thick & thin over the years - 'cos i'm a supporter. But I KNOW we'll be back & soon! It was wack watching them play Colchester & Donny & the like but me & my ol' Daddy still WATCHED them. Now Utd. have gone up, all the rusty Blades have come out of the woodwork! Car stickers & 'retro' shirts in abundance they've even given the Lane a lick of paint! Its wonderful to see boys. it is quite wonderful to see yes. as with anything, success brings more "fans" look over at Wigan as a fine example, a team who could barely get 4,000 about 4 years since, now they get 24,000 a week. obviously united fans will come out the woodwork whilst were doing well, as would more wendy fans So was Warnock officially sent off or just told to move into the stands? If it was the former, then won't that mean he has to sit in the stands for at least the opening fixture in the Premiership? Whilst I appreciate Graham Poll is an absolute pansy, Warnock should have known better, after all, he knew what to expect as soon as he learned Poll was 'reffing' the match. it was the 4th official who had him ordered to the stands, but i dont see why he would miss the opening game?? chuffinel
Robbie, I didn't see the game obviously, but the way that I'm reading it is that he was ejected by the ref after consultation with the fourth official. It didn't help his cause that he supposedly refused to leave at first and then was escorted off by the police. If these are the facts, I can't see him not getting a ban for a game or so next season. Yeah, but Wednesday CURRENTLY pulled in 30,000 for a no-brainer against Norwich & will pull even more for Reading this week even though we've absolutely nothing to play for. To me that's support! To me that's support! And we're all really bothered about wednesdays higher attendances aren't we? Enjoy your relegation dogfight next season. We have one on our hands too, but we'll be fighting ours IN THE PREMIERSHIP!!!!!

BladesCHN
I just want to say that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING on the pitch,we can be defeated by the dominant teams like Chelsea,Man.United,Arsenal and Liverpool,we might also shock their supporters by beating them! The success of Wigan brought us hope that a newly-promoted team could even turn the standing table upside down.Hopefully,Chinese international Hao haidong will make his debut in this world most competitive league.Come on,lads, let's look forward to the brand-new season!-A Chinese fan of the Blades. To me that's support! Hardly surprising when you let the kids in for free, and then probably count them twice. Nice to see that you Wendy's concede to being no-brainers. Nice to see that you Wendy's concede to being no-brainers. Kids are the future mate (without wanting to go all Micky J). I just think its our responsibility as proud Sheffielders & followers of the Beautiful Game to not give them false hope by getting them involved in meaningless aspirations of consistent top-flight football. Wean them onto it with form like 4 wins, 2 draws & a loss, strengthen them with the promise of quality, experienced players & a manager who remains in his technical area, for the upcoming season. And, when the rewarding times do come, we are not there half-cocked with a core fan base of about 18,000, pretty ropey recent form & TWELVE seasons of dissapointment behind us. I thank you.
