Dude111
It's insane in the UK- as seen on this thread, the authorities will spend serious amounts of taxpayers money in imprisoning a person purely for being naked. Why do you think the USA is more uptight? Well I was just saying that on the basis that this country has become one of the stupidist ones in the world!!!!! poppet2
Sorry to resurrect this old thread but they're discussing this on radio 4 right now. Would he ramble naked in WINTER, or revert to wearing clothes like the rest of us? If so just how genuine is he, because we would all like to throw our clothes off from time to time in summer, especially when temperatures were in the 30s. People see a lot more scary things on TV and online, than a mans naked body. Locked up for 10 years for showing too much flesh, surely it goes against society to wear a niqab too. We do, but generally not to the point of nakedness. Only recently showing an ankle would be regarded as immoral. What is it that’s ‘immoral” about the human body, and it’s parts? geared
Where is he now? In prison or out rambling?? If he's inside I bet he was gutted with all the decent weather we've had this summer, perfect time for a long walk on the beach:hihi::hihi:
Jeffrey Shaw
Only recently showing an ankle would be regarded as immoral. It still is immoral, in some cultures, to show otherwise covered body parts; and it's also often unlawful. The main divergences concern which parts these might be. Cyclone
Which makes you question the whole concept of how a body part on display can have any morality attached really doesn't it?

Anna B
Clothes offer warmth and protection among other things. If he wants to forego this that's up to him. Clothes are also a sign of status. Being naked was historically seen as a sign of slavery / servitude in a clothed society. Most naked people do not look sexy out of context. He's a harmless eccentric trying to make a point. Leave him be. I don't think it will catch on.
