Kensmith
Since living here I have discovered Kasmiri Aroma which is superb for a night out , I also like Dimsum on London Rd .
melv
We don't have such problems in the northern half of the City, it must be terrible having such a limited choice finding somewhere decent to eat. Good luck. Perhaps those of us in South Sheffield have moved on from tripe & onions:hihi:
thestig2004
Would definitely support suggestions for Kashmiri Aroma, The Broadfield or The Cricket Inn - all great eateries!
Nagel
Marco@Milano is the best I've been to - http://www.marcoatmilano.com/index.htm Although it's Italian, it's just as much high standard modern cooking and it's reasonably priced for the quality. tomkins
If you like excellent steaks the have a go at one called Chez Lahlou at commonside in walkley. I have been going here for well over 10 years. It is small and intimate but you will be leaving stuffed and a big doggy bag. The food is exceptional. I've read plenty of reviews for Chez Lahlou over the years and never been tempted to go there. It sounds like my idea of a nightmare restaurant. It's very cramped isn't it and they give you far too much food so you're stuffed right after the starter and the big plate of complimentary chicken wings? I really hate 'huge portions'. tomkins
There is a lot of food yes, anybody who has been more than once knows not to order a starter. The food is amazing though so dont be put off.
