dorberman Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 have noticed a loud knocking coming from my smiley transit from the front drivers side front wheel-suspension area on pot holes/speed ramps. had a quick look and cant see any obvious things.ie broken springs etc. any ideas?? choogling Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 drove it to work and back this morning and put my right foot on wheel arch and could feel movement/vibrations so i`m thinking it could be shock absorber.maybe?? get your bottom ball joint checked by jacking under the chassis and let the suspension hang,if you jack under the bottom arm the play will be taken up.Sometimes only a slight amount of play will be felt with the joint fitted but when removed we sometimes find 10mm play.
