Jerusalem (2nd verse)

(And then ban political parties [but not voluntary organisations] from using it)

I'm not big on banning things but I like the idea of banning poltical parties from using it. I'd ban political parties from using national flags too.

Some interesting results on the poll thus far.

Can't disagree there.

Let political parties pick their own anthems/themes/party song and icons.

Not those of the nation in some ridiculous attempt to con the public into thinking they're speaking for all of us.

(Who could I possibly mean…)

Because sometimes England acts on its own for such things as sports teams. Football and rugby come to mind.

God Save The Queen worked well for the England football team in 1966 and the England rugby team in 2003 .

Because we don't have an English anthem is the point tinfoil is making.God and the queen are not important to many people these days gamston, how old are you,120?

We don't need an English National Anthem . Nothing wrong with tradition .

You don't seem to be able to acknowledge the difference between England and Great Britain.
