£150 ticket for Queen's birthday celebrations

Recommended Posts

"The Queen's birthday street party is being organised by Sports and Entertainments Limited whose director is none other than the Queen's Grandson, Mr Peter Phillips."

"It also emerged yesterday that although it is a 'not for profit' event Mr Phillips' business is being paid an undisclosed fee from the money raised by the ticket sales."

also from DM

Yes, he will probably do quite nicely out of granny's birthday party

For anyone interested this is the hamper you get as part of your £150 ticket.

Not Heston Blumenthal, but M&S this time.

I was underwhelmed, although it does say M&S are donating them free. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3501902/Pork-pies-Pimm-s-plastic-fork-M-S-unveil-hamper-feed-10-000-guests-Britain-s-biggest-street-party-celebrate-Queen-s-90th-birthday.html

If Tony Blair was going, I'd buy a ticket. Although for him you'd need the Seven Sacred Daggers of Megiddo. :D

Maybe I can pick some up on eBay?

As an anti, I would not go if "they" paid me.

I think you would need more than these knives to get rid of Bliar, he seems bullet proof. I doubt even a nuclear bomb would scratch him.
