Looking to hear from anyone who was a contemporary and lived in Crookes during this period in particular former pupils of Western Rd infants/junior school. You're a couple of years older than I am but I went to all 3 Western Road Schools and spent most of my time roaming Crookes and the Bolehills. Only person I remember who lived on Bolehill Road was Eric Burton. He lived right opposite the top end of the Bolehills.
