Alternate Monday afternoons will see a new social event in S8 where people over 50 can get together for a drink or a freshly ground coffee and a good old chat. Enjoy a glass of wine, a beer, or a soft drink and a light lunch, then have a go on the raffle, quiz or bingo. Everyone is welcome, so don't worry if you come alone...the whole point is to enjoy meeting new friends. Ocassional speakers or visiting therapists/ film screenings /beauticians/manicurists will attend the group if enough people are interested in booking places. If you'd like to hear more about us please drop us a pm and we'll keep you up to date about our proposed start date and times. Please note...activities co-ordinators are very welcome to join the Pals Club group with residents, the building is fully accessible and has dedicated parking bays for anyone needing them. Huxley Posted February 8, 2016 Author Share Posted February 8, 2016 The Monday Pals Group (MPG) will be holding its first ever session on Monday 7th March, 1pm to 4pm, at Sheffield Transport Sports Club at Meadowhead. Come along and for just £1 entry you can enjoy a free light lunch buffet, good company, a raffle and the chance to meet new friends. For those who enjoy a game of bingo you will meet Ted...who is a master of the game, Huxley will provide a tasty buffet choice at lunchtime, and Alison will welcome you at the bar!! There will be chess, darts, pool and cards available for anyone wishing to enjoy a game. A suggestions box will be available too....so please feel free to tell us what you would like to see happening at your group.
