EUCLID 11
My Tamron 70-300 doesn't want to work in certain conditions. Dull winter days on full 300mm telephoto and it starts playing up. Picture fails and error comes up on my 1200d screen telling me to clean contacts, even when I have just cleaned them. Its the same when I fit the lens onto my 350d, same light conditions, same result. I haven't had this lens long, its new and hardly used. Is it a 'bright day only' lens ?? It works fine on close subjects on 300mm even in poor light but doesn't like long distance. It also works OK indoors using flash. Does anyone else use this lens and have problems ???? mickey finn
How old is the lens, if it is an old lens it might be incompatible with modern digital bodies.
EUCLID 11
Its suitable for both film and digital, still widely on sale at Jessops and Amazon. I've had it since last March and found the warranty card. Its going in for repairs. Obviously faulty, it gets decent write ups on Amazon. It needs resetting. Its been a dog for ages. ---------- Post added 30-01-2016 at 01:09 ---------- Its been sorted at Jessops. Some new parts fitted and re calibrated. Its quite decent now.
