top4718
Don't think I've ever been. Looking at The Bay holiday accommodation. Welcome any thoughts, good or bad!! Thanks. I've always liked it, fairly unspoilt, the beach is ok, a few small amusement arcades for the kids, one or two pubs, a good chippy and there used to be a very good (but small) Italian on the back streets. Red Lion
It's a very nice small town . It is a little like going back in time , there are not many pubs or shops , but the sea views are spectacular . The best fish and chip shop is Inghams . Well worth a visit to Filey . scrappy
Used to go every year as a kid for family caravan holidays. Loved it! You wont find anything extravagant but if tradition family fun is what you want you will love it.

hyper
Plus you're not too far away from Bridlington or Scarborough if you want days out. Then there's flamborough and Bempton if you want time out cliff walking or birdwatching
geared
Nice place, quite alot of old people there though. Robin Hoods Bay is a nicer place IMO, quite small but the beach is pretty big.
Glennis
I enjoyed my few days there a couple of years ago. Its nice and the beach is good for the children, rock pools, good local walks, and the brig to explore....nice quiet holiday, a bit of a 1950s feel to the place.
