Sign up to join 2016's Pink Army and help us to beat cancer sooner!

 

Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course where you can show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink. You must be over 13 years old to take part in this event.

 

Bring a change of clothes for after your event and a towel to wipe off the worst of the mud; remember there are no showers or lockers at Pretty Muddy events, but there will be a bag drop area.

The course

 

The Pretty Muddy Rother Valley route is a flat course travelling alongside the picturesque lake, across grass, paths and woodland tracks. As it is quite an open park there are several opportunities to enjoy watching the fun around the obstacles for any spectators.

 

Meeting point

 

The start line is at the Northern Lake, near the top end of the park. When entering into the park from the main entrance, please turn right by the café and follow signage.

 

On the day

 

This is a great family friendly venue so don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.

 

Transport and parking

 

Parking will be based on a first come first served basis so there may be a short walk from the car park to the main event site. Please allow time for this, and please car share where possible.

 

Car parking is limited at Rother Valley Country Park. Stewards will be on site to help with directions and car parking. Due to the high volume of cars parking at this venue please consider alternatives such as walking, car sharing or arriving early. This will help your day run smoothly and ease local congestion.
