Janus
Don`t some TVs that are put on standby with the remote come back on after a certain period of time though?

spilldig
[/color] I used to have a Samsung TV that turned itself on to do a software update. Yes Samsungs do, but all TVs should be unplugged or switched off at the mains when not in use, to be on the safe side.
