Yellowbeard
Hi, I am new to this forum and would appreciate any input on a piece that I just acquired. It is a vessel of some sort. Not really sure what it is used for. It is rectangular in shape. Utilitarian in design. It measures approx. 12" tall, 8" wide, and 2 1/4" deep. It has a threaded neck approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. It appears to be made of pewter. It has the James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield Hallmark with bugle and banner. Below is stamped 334 and next to it is stamped 124 oz. Any information as to what this item may be would be great. Thank you.
