the_mandarin
I have to catch a train from Meadowhall next week at around 8.00 in the morning, and I will be back around 6.00pm the same day. What would be the best place to park? I have seen old threads where people have pointed to the free parking at Meadowhall, but the online link below states that the parking space is no longer active. http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/meadowhall_station/s9/meadowhall_road/
geared
Well Meadowhall station car park seems like the obvious place. I've heard it gets busy in the mornings though.

the_mandarin
Side streets etc. Just don't park in meadowhall as they have cameras on all entrances Sorry, but I am not sure what you are referring to. Are these parking spaces not free, or are they for a few hours only?

Parking at Meadowhall itself is free but it's only for people who are shopping there

the_mandarin
Exactly what I was thinking! Even if they are monitoring using cameras to look for people who park and walk away, you could get around it by entering the shopping centre and walking out on another exit?
