Cockers Yard Jessop Street 1853

I have an old map of Sheffield dated 1853, on the map is 'Cocker's Yard'' exactly where the Fire station is, in town now, Cockers Yard was In between Jessop Street and Jessop Lane.

 

Does anyone know of any information on Cockers Yard? What firm it might have been?

 

Across the road was Ellins Yard, which belonged to the Ellins family who where cutlers, could this have been the same for Cockers Yard?
