Whilst I can still remember them I would like to thank those 'kids' who made the late 40's,early 50's so memorable.Playing on the 'Backs' at Walesbar with Leslie Moseley,Harry Allen,Jack Grace,Billy Godfrey,Johnny Heywood.etc swimming in the cooling water reservoir from the local coking plant (Hot but polluted),bonfire night,Mischievous night etc, and the girls...Dot Askew,Cynthia Coxon,Vennie Harris,Avis Shaw etc.

Then Kiveton in the early 50's,youth club,St Johns Hall (dancing 50/50 sequence and olde tyme etc)the Clarences 'Leeds Arms' pub for early Rock and Roll.We were taught to jive by three sisters from Harthill long before Elvis etc.

Anyway thanks to you all, hope you are all still enjoying life.
