The most vocal supporters of other cultures suddenly go quiet when they have to give their opinions on these cultures viewpoints on equality (along with homosexuality and religious freedom). Many many people, women included, would argue that the existence of a regulated porn/adult entertainment industry in which no one is abused or exploited is a sign of a good free society. Often, many of the critics are just deflecting things away from their own prejudices (equality for women). It is one of the biggest disapointments in my lifetime that women are still not paid equal wages for equal work. I know plenty of Muslim women too - many of them are colleagues. So yes, a place for feminism is still as valid today as then, considering nearly 50 yrs have elapsed.
