The White Lion on London Road is also welcoming to dogs, as seems to be The Brothers Arms (formerly Shakespeare) in Heeley - though if there's music on at the White it can get a bit loud/busy I would also mention the Sheaf View as being dog friendly at this point! Heading out of town towards Chesterfield, The Travellers Rest in Apperknowle, and the Miners Arms in Hundall are both very dog friendly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nice for having a good walk and a few pints ??? There's also a good iPhone app/website called DoggiePubs which shows any in your location, and you can add reviews to it. Tyranna Posted February 22, 2016 Share Posted February 22, 2016 The Rutland Arms must be high on the list; only today I saw two women with 2 massive dogs like Great Danes just coming out from there; it has a good sized beer garden and is also convenient for the train station and bus station.
