If humans evolved from monkeys, how come monkeys haven't evolved?

Recommended Posts

of course monkeys have evolved.

the little gits in Lopburi know enough to steal people's mobile phones and cameras and then leg it up a tree top. They wait there and won't give it you back until they are are confident of getting a large amount of bananas in return.

That isn't evolution it is learned behaviour.

It is strange how no other life form has evolved anything like as dramatically as human beings. There are creatures that have stayed more or less the same for millions of years.

That doesn't necessarily mean that they are not evolving though, I'm by no means an expert but this is an interesting article, essentially it appears outward appearance doesn't necessarily mean that evolution isn't taking place.

Lots of species have developed just as dramatically.

There are actually very few species that haven't changed much and they're actually quite interesting (Crocodiles for example).

Dogs have changed dramatically, left to evolution it a very slow process. We have killed a lot of them off, before they get the chance.
