Harrystottle
The idea should be expanded to cyclists. They too should have to wear crash helmets like those worn by motorcyclists, full body armour plus strap-on airbags to break their fall in an accident. Eric Arthur
Your idea is real genius but my helmet plan would need adjusting to make full use of it to ensure a clean kill. The spike idea might be worth revisiting if it could ensure a neat evisceration. http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=11306975#post11306975

Motorcyclists only legally have to wear a crash helmet, body armour is optional.

Marx
I would need a roof extension if I had to wear a crash helmet. I already have to adopt the 'Easy Rider' position in several makes of car as there just isn't enough headroom.

The horse jumping brigade wear the expanding jacket to save them in the event of a fall, horse falling on them I suppose. So it may be a good idea for our motorcyclist friends. Angel1.
