El Cid
We won't leave the EU. When it comes to it, most people will vote as realists, for the status quo. I did think that too, now I am not so sure. The EU is more of a socialist organisation, and at the moment the UK is a Tory supporting country. We need to work together, with other countries, but many think things will be different outside the EU; I think it will be very similar. What would be different if we were outside the EU today? Lower taxes, some people say we want freedom to set our own taxes. And set our own laws, what laws would be different, none?

biotechpete
I thought Status Quo were retiring after there next tour finishes. Ah, that old chestnut eh? I'm in my 30s and thats barely a valid cultural reference for me. Perhaps it's time you got some new jokes. ---------- Post added 21-02-2016 at 23:02 ---------- I did think that too, now I am not so sure. I must admit I was marginally undecided until I watched Cameron on Andrew Marr this morning. The quite he used summed it up pretty well though. Something like I'd love to live in utopia, but when we get to utopia the EU will be there too.
foxy lady
I can't see how sharing a platform with Farage and gorgeous George can possibly enhance his status as a serious politician. My guess is that he will stay out of the limelight for the time being. If Brexit looks likely, expect him to wade in. Do you expect Cameron to share a stage with Corbyn and Gerry Adams? MLAR
Do you expect Cameron to share a stage with Corbyn and Gerry Adams? This referendum is going to throw up some odd alliances:D Do keep up
foxy lady
Do keep up Perhaps it is you that needs to keep up. He maybe sharing an idea but he won't be sharing a stage with those two nutbags.
MLAR
Perhaps it is you that needs to keep up. Why? You can distinguish between "platform" and "stage", in this context. Can't you? ................... Edited February 21, 2016 by MLAR
Quik
The benefit is that now we have a negotiator we could trust to go for the jugular post brexit rather than the clammy weak cameron. Good drills bozza.
Berberis
i'll just put this here for future reference: Boris will end up being the defacto speaker for the Out campaign. They will win by a small margin and Cameron will stand down as leader of the Tory Party. Boris will succeed him as no one else will stand a chance as he will be credited with winning the Out campaign single handedly. 2020 election will be Boris vs Corbyn and we will see a resurgence in Lib Dem support. The Torys will win an even larger majority, while Labour will sink to almost neck in neck with the Lib Dems. This will effectively split Her Majesty's opposition down the middle, rendering it politically inert. Boris will then rule for the next 5 years and some time around 2025 he will reveal himself as the antichrist but no one will care because he is such a lovable buffoon. ANGELFIRE1
We won't leave the EU. When it comes to it, most people will vote as realists, for the status quo. I think most people have a brain, this will allow them to weigh the situation up and make the only decision that makes sense, get OUT of the failed money sucking behemoth that is the EU. We live in Great Britain, 5th largest economy in the world, of course we can survive OUTside of the corrupt institution that is the EU. Angel1. ---------- Post added 22-02-2016 at 07:15 ---------- Any one of the same opinion as myself, the BBC are biased towards staying in the EU. I doubt even Boris can solve that one. Angel1.
