MikeFrank
Hello. Broke a suspension spring on a big pot hole the other day. Has anyone any experience of claiming compo off the council? They may be getting a few claims. When in the garage the mechanic said its the third one this week... thanks

geared
Usually the hole needs to have been reported 2 weeks or so beforehand, if it's not been reported you're out of luck. They can't fix what they don't know about, and a pothole can appear over just a couple of days if the road is busy.

I think most of the Council tax goes on wages for top end solicitors ensuring they can take no blame.
MikeFrank
Okay. I dont think I'll bother. It cost 80 quid but the time and effort isnt worth it and I'd probably get nowhere anyway..
