Toriaa Posted February 27, 2016 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Hi all, I am a first year journalism student at the university of sheffield and I was hoping someone would be nice enough to give me a comment for a piece I am currently writing about the new Star Flyer attraction due to come to Sheffield this year. The council granted plans for a 220ft Carousel to sit at the top of fargate from March to June earlier in the week. It will sit where the previous ferris wheel was situated back in 2009. Many comments were made in the council meeting such as it will be disruptive to shoppers and compromises Sheffield's iconic skyline. While other councillors suggested it will promote Sheffield as a city and think it should stay well into the school holidays. What are everyone's thoughts?
