Is Donald Trump a conman?

Recommended Posts

We used to wonder how Hitler came to power. Watching what's going on in the USA right now with this bloke, you can see how it happened?

Exactly ! But don't underestimate Trump ! He's treating the Mexicans as Hitler treated the Jews. However, I don't believe he will ever become President as his rudeness will be his downfall. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time !

I do not believe that that Clinton woman is financing the Presidential bid herself.

No and as she's under criminal federal investigation her sources of finace will be more open to scrutiny than normal.

You've got it wrong. He's plain talkin' and binning all that political correct nonsense.

It's off to trumps re-education camp for you!

Indeed - a good example of his plain talking is his mocking of a disabled reporter:

I think that shows the measure of the man.

the Tuesday results are not yet in, but we can be reasonably confident Trump has won most of the primaries and caucauses.

he's got the nomination. Unless there is some massive personal scandal, or unexpected event, Trump will be the one running on the Republican/GOP ticket.

what I would expect him to do from this position is follow the Nixon doctrine, of how to go about being elected as the President of the United States on a GOP ticket.

that's tacking right in the primaries and going into the mainstream for the general election.

Trump will shut up about Mexicans/The Wall/and banning Muslims from the United States from now on. That is what got him the Republican nomination, but it won't get him the presidency.

"Is Donald Trump a conman?"

Most probably, he is also a billionaire AND most likely the next President of the USA.

Angel1.

no he isn't. He is still very much the underdog. And people in the United States, unlike in Britain, don't tend to favour the underdog in the same way. Check the bookie's odds. Nobody really thinks that Donald Trump, will be the next president.

even many months ago, before Trump even entered the race, Clinton was the overwhelming favourite to be the next president.

this is despite her being very vulnerable. She's too old (for a woman). The public don't really like her and they're also sick of her. She's been on the national stage for a quarter of a century. She has a number of scandals and skeletons-in-closets.

but she'll win because the Republicans/GOP are in such a godawful mess. That they've allowed Trump, who isn't even a conservative for crying out loud, to come in is just another indication of that.

Trump had the GOP over a barrel. He said that if they turned against him, he'd run as a third party candidate and split their votes. So their only hope was that he'd be ridiculed during the nomination fight.

It also didn't help that Trump's biggest rival, Ted Cruz is hated by the party's congress members, to the point that I would't be surprised if there was an "anyone but Cruz" movement behind the scenes.
