First bus route diverted

new 38 bus route from hillsborough....middlewood rd...catch bar lane...penistone rd...follow old 53 route to derick dooley way....come round rounabout bottom of pye bank rd....go back down to penistone rd ....up parkside rd...onto leppins lane herries rd back on to 38 route to meadow hall...15 minute journey.....now takes 1 hour 15 minutes....bus driver when approached ,,,"they told me to go this way " ??????

yes was hun ...but not like that tho....it could have gone penistone rd then to rutland rd...we passed rutland rd twice and it was flowing freely so was no problem getting up there to shirecliffe rd,,,what made it worse was bus driver never told anybody anything just toodled on his merry way

I'm more shocked the OP managed to discover a First Bus. Parts of Sheffield havent even seen one since the bus changes. In some places your more likely to ride on a Unicorn.
