Mister M
A lot of money has been invested in that area and the Council have a duty to protect the interests of all the people who have worked hard to create a nice environment. I guess Stag and Hen parties are not welcome. Lots of money is invested all over Salford! But apparently the council have singled out media city as more deserving of protection. Like I said earlier far worse things are shown on the Jeremy Kyle show and no doubt the council is happy to see coach trips of people from all over the country to gawp at the spectacle. Hogarth would've recognised this immediately

Orzel
Foul language seems to be no longer frowned upon no matter where the area. I often hear mothers on the school run using the F word in every other sentence this while standing at the school gates setting a wonderful example to their little darlings who will grow up thinking that there is nothing wrong by using the same. Oh yeah, you would never hear a mill worker swear in them good ol' times. Everything going downhill now. It's that type of people, not times. runningman1
Posh people swear less anyway. It is mostly scummy people that swear. I would be in favour of banning people with strong regional accents from posh places too.
Anna B
We could just build a wall across the top end of Abbeydale Road, then they wouldn't have to worry about the Scummmy type getting in at all.
Berberis
Why ban it. it helps me spot the ill-educated council types a mile off
Eric Arthur
The foulest language comes out of the poshest mouths. The plebs can't even get their ***ing **** **** cockjocky ladygarden knob expletives right. Ooo, I enjoyed that. Thank goodness for the swear filter. I should add that the above is a direct quote from one of the poshest mouths at a shoot one time. Edited March 11, 2016 by Eric Arthur
Chelle-82
I swear like a trooper when i'm amongst my friends in an informal gathering... I drop f-bombs and c-bombs like it's a blitz! I don't however swear infront of my Daughter, my mum and Dad, my Grandparents, my work Colleagues (during working hours!!) the elderly or in general public settings (late night pub visits not included) I watched a documentary with Stephen Fry about swearing and Brian Blessed was on it (renowned for dropping his own f-bombs) and it basically said the higher a persons IQ the more they swear. Sooooo, basically for those of you mentioning Jezza Kyle and his undesirable guests! it would appear they're liiiike, proper clever init..
tzijlstra
Swearing is part of language, it doesn't matter whether people think it is right or not. Language is a living, dynamic thing and any attempts to kerb it are destined for failure.
